Airport and Ground transportation
Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is an
international airport in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, 11 miles
west of downtown New Orleans. The ground transportation
system at the airport is an extensive network of public transit,
taxicab, shuttle, and limousine services.
The Jefferson Transit Authority (JET) and the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) provide nine busses to downtown
New Orleans daily, leaving from the outer lanes of the second
floor outside Concourse C.
Taxi rides cost $36.00 (plus tip) from the airport to the Central Business District or French Quarter for up to two ( 2)
passengers. For three ( 3) or more passengers, the fare will be
$15.00 per passenger. Taxicab booths are located on the first
level of the Terminal outside of Baggage Claim Belts 1 and 14.
Passengers must wait in line at one of these booths for taxi
Shuttle service is available from the airport to hotels and
various other locations in the New Orleans for $24.00 (per
person, one-way) or $44.00 (per person, round-trip). Passengers can purchase tickets at the Airport at Airport Shuttle
ticket booths located on the first level throughout the Baggage

Traveling to Meeting Venues
The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is located at 900
Convention Center Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70130
Complimentary shuttle service will be provided among the
Convention Center and official ACS hotels, with the exception
of hotels within walking distance.
The streetcars are as much a tourist attraction as they are a
way to get around town. A one-way ticket is $1.25 and a day
pass costs $3. Make sure you bring cash, because drivers do
not take credit cards.
